Medical certificates in Vilanova i la Geltrú
CEMO Vilanova has a technical and human team and the administrative licences (B-0301) to be able to issue Medical Certificates for the obtainment and renewal of the Medical Certificates required to obtain or renew licences for driving (all categories), firearms, security guards, tower and mobile cranes, merchant shipping and dangerous animals. Carrying out the medical procedures and tests at CEMO Vilanova gives you the peace of mind of being at a medical centre in which one of its specialties is ophthalmology and which has the specialists and devices to diagnose most eye diseases. If you have any problems with your sight, this is resolved at the time.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR DRIVING LICENCE
There is no need to book an appointment; just turn up with your current ID card and the driving licence requiring renewal. In our Medical Centre, we can perform all the tests required by current legislation and then CEMO Vilanova will manage your file online. After the medical examination, we will provide you with your provisional permit which you can sue until you receive the new and definitive permit in the post.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR BOAT LICENCES
To obtain or renew yacht captain, yacht skipper, pleasure boat and basic navigation licences, you will also need to obtain a mandatory medical certificate from CEMO.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR A FIREARMS LICENCE
If you need to obtain or renew your firearms licence at CEMO, we can take care of the medical certificate and mandatory psychological assessments.
Certificates for the following licences:
- Firearms licence “B”: Individuals
- Firearms licence “C”: Security guard
- Firearms licence “D”: Big game.
- Firearms licence “E”: Big game.
- Firearms licence “F”: Members of sports federations.
- Special authorisation (AE): Individuals.
- (L): Individuals.
At the end of the medical review, you must deliver the Certificate to the Armory or in the Civil Guard to proceed with the renewal of your licence.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR A DANGEROUS ANIMALS LICENCE
Ley 50/1999 of 23 December sets out the regulations applicable to owning potentially dangerous animals to make it compatible with the safety of people, property and other animals. To obtain a licence for potentially dangerous animals, as well of being of legal age, you must not have been convicted of any crimes such as murder, injury, torture, etc, and must have taken out civil liability insurance and the psychological suitability certificate can be provided by our centre. Potentially dangerous dogs include: Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa Inu, Akita Inu and their crosses.
