New minimally-invasive diagnosis technique to diagnose vascular diseases of the retina. We have the latest non-contrast, non-invasive angiography diagnosis technology which provides us with detailed information on the retinal vascular structures, their layers and various anomalies.
Optical Coherence Tomography Zeiss. OCT Cirrus HD.
Optical coherence tomography, specifically designed to offer a range of complex complementary applications and cope with the changing diagnosis requirements in different patient populations. Study and analysis of the shape, size and edges of the optic nerve. This is also used to analyse the thickness of the macula, disruption to the RPE and to monitor macula-related pathologies.
Campimeter HFA-II. Medical Technologies Zeiss
It is a field analyser with over 25 years of research, design and clinical experience. A standard tool used in the diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma as well as the performance of visual perimetry in different ocular and neurological pathologies.
Topography device Cassini
Advanced topography that provides precise information on the morphology of the two sides of the cornea; anterior and posterior; so that the total astigmatism value is more precise. This is indicated, above all, for any type of corneal surgery (refractive and phaco-refractive_ for pre- and post-surgical evolution of the keratoconus and for the adjustment of contact lenses.
Topography device Atlas Zeiss
It combines the technology of Placido’s disk with detailed mapping of the corneal surface giving us accurate information on the cornea to detect pathologies, quantify aberrations, adjust contact lenses and plan surgery.
Argon laser NIDEK
This is a laser combined with a microscope which can be used to make controlled impacts on the part of the retina concerned. We use it to treat various pathologies such as diabetic retinopathy and retinal tears and neurovascular glaucomas.
YAG laser Ellex
We have the latest technology in this type of laser.. It is a bimodal laser optimised for the removal of floaters using vitreolysis and for the prevention of acute glaucoma.
It is also used to clean intraocular lenses.
Pachymeter and contact biometer
The Ocuscan Ultrasound is an ophthalmic ultrasound for measuring corneal thickness and for measuring the axial length of the eye. Widely used in patients with mature cataracts.
IOLMaster ultrasonic biometer from Zeiss
It is the gold standard in non-contact optical biometry with more than 100 million intraocular lens strength calculations. It gives us a practically exact and reliable calculation of the strength of the intraocular lens requires for each eye and situation.
The Tearlab provides us with information on the lacrimal system and the ocular surface. With this data, we can improve the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of dry eye syndrome.
The ocular surface, specifically the lacrimal system, is necessary for the proper functioning of the vision, so it is essential to evaluate its status. Dry eye is a pathology affecting the ocular surface and is characterised by loss of the tear film.
